Nicole Melanson

Nicole, a seasoned Health and Safety Consultant, is committed to cultivating healthier and safer workplaces throughout New Brunswick. Holding certifications as a Certified Psychological Health & Safety Advisor and Mental Health First Aid Basic Responder, she employs a holistic approach, prioritizing both physical and psychological workplace safety.

With a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences and a Master of Arts in Adult Education, Nicole has 15 years of experience in occupational health and safety. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with over 200 organizations spanning various sizes and industries, developing and implementing effective occupational health and safety solutions that improve organizational culture and safety performance.

Nicole is an active participant in shaping industry standards, lending her expertise to national technical committees, notably for the new CSA Z301 Standard – Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Accessibility in Apprenticeship programs, and the CSA Z1003-13 Standard – Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace.

Known as a skilled workshop facilitator and speaker at employer events, Nicole is driven by a passion for instigating positive workplace transformations. By empowering employers to foster a safety-centric culture, she enables them to optimize their most valuable asset – their people.
